Sandy has 10+ years of successful management and business ownership experience and works with companies to assess, identify, and achieve their goals, opportunities, and ultimate potential for this year and beyond. We are so excited to have Sandy on our team!
Sandy is a seasoned sales and management professional with small business owner experience in a variety of industries. Her early career was based in the service/hospitality industry, including Marriott International and Brinker International (Chili’s), where she received world-class training and gained valuable skills, experience, and knowledge of business processes and effectiveness. Sandy was always promoted quickly to higher responsibilities, working in leadership positions in the areas of Marketing, Management, Employee Relations and Customer Service.
She always had an entrepreneurial spirit and after the birth of her second child, she decided to start her own business. Sandy opened and operated a successful home day care business. She simultaneously served her community by organizing and leading the #1 fundraising team regionally for three years at JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
After the birth of her third child, she succeeded by selling nutritional products for a $3B health and wellness company. The company provided professional sales and management training and helped Sandy develop valuable skills in goal setting, public speaking, and employee relations. Sandy put these skills to good use and grew a second successful business from inception, earning annual Sales and Top Producer Awards along the way. In 2005, Sandy identified an opportunity to expand her health and wellness offerings by becoming a Certified Life and Fitness Coach. She earned her Personal Training Certification in 2006 and discovered her ultimate passion in helping people achieve greater results physically, mentally, and in every area of life. Sandy purchased New Life Health and Wellness, a fitness center, in 2008. Prior to the purchase, the fitness center was doing poorly with only 88 members. She once again applied her sales, marketing, and process improvement skills and doubled the membership each year, growing quickly to over 500 members. Sandy also added staff, independent contractors, several services, and new programs, resulting in additional revenue gains. She completed her goal in 2015 by selling the business at a healthy profit.
In 2016, it all came together. To best utilize her business owner, management, sales, customer service, and health and wellness expertise to help others achieve their goals and dreams, Sandy joined GROWTHco as the Director of Sales and Client Services and has made an immediate impact to the individuals and businesses we serve.
Sandy graduated from Assumption College with a BS in Chemistry. She lives in Hopedale MA, is the mother of three kids and has five siblings. She most enjoys having a well-balanced life that allows for family activities and the creation of positive, life-long memories. In addition, Sandy enjoys puzzles and reading when she isn’t spending time with friends, running, or exercising.
